Celebrity appeal

This week I thought I would start off in praise of the RNLI. Selsey’s inshore lifeboat made the news this week after going to the aid of an elderly lone sailor. I know from years of leaflet delivering that many residents support them and have RNLI stickers in their front windows.

If you would like to support their work too, click here.

In other local travel-related news, a lot of people have commented on proposals for a new cycling and walking route between Emsworth and Chichester, and CDC’s parking team have won a national award for best online services

I mentioned celebrities living locally last week, so I was pleased to read that another one, Jack Dee, has been singing our area’s praises. As the weather worsens you might want to plan ahead for local Christmas markets, try these highly rated hidden pubs, go back in time or eat out at one of the country's most highly rated gastropubs

Again, Donna and I have had a busy week Councils and work wise - in fact I drafted a large part of this week’s post whilst staying late at school on Thursday awaiting the start of an Open Evening. This coming week, the meeting I had has been rescheduled to later in the month. Donna has Planning in Chichester on Wednesday and meetings during the week with local residents regarding casework and Selsey Town Council related meetings.

And finally: -

As always, from the whole Team, stay safe.
