On Monday Mick and Val represented us at CDC’s All Parishes meeting (Donna and I were eagerly awaiting the birth of our second grandchild, another boy.) On Tuesday Donna Chaired the latest CDC Overview and Scrutiny Committee and afterwards posted: - “ We discussed Social Prescribing, a non clinical service which can help with issues which don't actually require a medical intervention. This can be things such as social isolation, anxiety and low level depression. Social prescribers can offer solutions, and give support to people, helping them through difficult times, and enabling  access to other services. It's a very valuable provision.   Welcome to this week's blog. As always, thank you for sparing the time to have a read.. On Monday our Green colleague, Tim Young, had CDC’s Environment Panel. The same day there was WSCC’s Communities, Highways and Environment Panel which Donna’s Green and Independent Group have a seat on. Donna had WSCC’s Health and Social Care Committee.  Next week Donna is Chairing the latest CDC Overview and Scrutiny Committee, so had a Briefing this afternoon. Watch CDC’s public meetings here . Donna and Val had CDC’s Planning on Wednesday then Val was joined by Ian, Mick, Ali and Gareth for STC’s Planning. This coming Monday our Green colleague, Tim Young has CDC’s Environment Panel. The same day there is WSCC’s Communities, Highways and Environment Panel which Donna’s Green and Independent Group has a seat on. On Wednesday I have to race back from school to join Donna, Ian and Andrew for our next Liaison Meeting with STC’s Senior Officers. Also on Wednesday, Donna has WSCC’s Health and Social Care Committee. This week we all had Full STC on Wednesday, which included an update on investigations into procuring additional Civil Enforcement Officer time.  On Monday our Green CDC colleague, Tim Young has their Environment Panel.
